Our staff is comprised of dedicated Physical Therapists who have each earned a degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university that is recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). All of our therapists have a license to practice in the state of North Carolina. They have individual strengths and backgrounds, with one common goal: progressing their patients to wellness by providing individualized, top-quality, hands-on care.

Our physical therapists develop unique relationships with their patients as a result of our high emphasis on individualized care. All of our patients are treated by the same physical therapist throughout the duration of their care. By the time our patients are discharged, they are often not just saying goodbye to another healthcare professional, but a friend.

At Dunn Physical Therapy, we are proud to say that several of our therapists have earned the honor of Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS). Less than 2% of physical therapists nationwide have earned this distinction, which recognizes superior skills and knowledge relating to orthopedic physical therapy.

APTA Private Practice Section's Practice Award Winner 2003

We are extremely proud to have been given this national award in recognition of the Dunn Physical Therapy's contributions to the community through quality care and an innovative approach to therapy. Christopher Dunn (pictured right) attended an award ceremony in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida in October of 2003, where he was honored for his commitment to quality care and his inspiration to his colleagues.

For this reason, we arrange for prominent individuals to teach our therapists the newest treatment methods with private education sessions held onsite several times a year. We are proud to be instructed by the original developers of these techniques rather than their pupils.
